Optimal is that he's retained all of the, ahem ... "moves," while learning professionalism and maturity that he was not exposed to earlier in his career.

One of my least favorite aspects of modern culture in general and social media in particular is the obsession with creating a response through artificial drama. "No publicity is bad publicity" clickbait BS is so tiresome. This is an innocuos, but prime example, of that. Katz knows PSU will be putrid, but that IU and Illinois fans will react. Yay, mission accomplished.....ugh.

if it was yesterday then that means they got word on something that wasn’t Ware and should be announced soon. They also are expecting something else in “a couple days” 

Maybe better in another thread, but I am interested how Howard became the recruit whisperer for IU? Clearly he's plugged in, just seemed to appear out of nowhere -from my perspective anyway.

Yeah, It's been that way for a while.  to me, He's the best twitter follow to get hints who IU is prioritizing and the overall feel of things.

Yeah living in the Midwest is not everyone’s cup of tea, especially kids who grew up on the coasts.

I see those terms exactly opposite, shooters make shots and scorers score their points no matter how many shots it takes. That said, I prefer scorers that can shoot.

The question begs, who is the coaching staff feeling good about.  I assume one is Ledlum based on the timing but that recruitment is looking less sure by the day.  Very curious to see who the next 2 spots go to.  I stand by the thought that we need 2 players of starter material to feel great about next season.  Staff is looking for a re-load.  Things are pretty quiet during the dead period so far.  I'm itching to hear names named.

I'm right there with you. Banks and Gunn really intrigue me. Both are good athletes with length. The tools are there, they just need to put it all together.

I can see Banks and Gunn both being effective. Gunn needs to make shots, improve defense.  Banks is close, just has to sure some things up. Provides some good already but he had some freshman, Bambi type moments last season.
