True, insiders didn't peg Battle to IU. Don't really think he fits with what we're trying to do anyways. He took a lot of shots at Minnie and doesn't come from a winning program.

Not sure I agree with that.   The staff made a trip to Minnesota for an in home visit.  There was mutual interest.    Portal recruiting is fast though.   A lot of moving parts.   If I’m IU I’m telling Ledlum that he is the priority target and we backed off so we could get you on campus and your our number 1

I mean as a fanbase we should expect our highly touted coaches to bring in Ledlum, Knecht and Ware... At some point we got have that standard we can pull that off. Gotta sell hard how good a starting 5 could be with...
