You missed my main points, it absolutely was hand wringing, and I never once brought up any “hypothetical” replacements. I merely pointed out brunks’ not hypothetical stats, and why no one should care too much he left. I also never stated I believe he was bumped. I believe CMW was straight forward and told him he could stay, but there probably wouldn’t be minutes.
Hypothetically speaking, you would really take Joey Brunk over a chance at Keion Brooks looking to restore his NBA stature? You can lie and say yes, but no one is going to believe you in that hypothetical.

Brunk wouldn't even be part of that hypothetical because his scholarship didn't count toward the available scholarships. I think you need to go way back and see where this conversation started.

Beard is gonna do so very well at Texas

Beard to Texas really was a match made in Heaven. If everything works out there, UT could really be set to rise to the top echelon of college basketball, especially if some current elite programs fumble coaching changes.

Key coming back to Indiana State for the extra year.   Glad he is coming back but thought he could go somewhere bigger for his extra year.

Wow. Hope he gets a few of those guys to come back with him.

J.J. Caldwell (New Mexico) to the portal.  Has one of the strangest stat lines in the game.....true pass first point guard, played 31 minutes per game last year and only averaged 5.8 points but added 5.7 assists.

You are not kidding. A 6’1” pg who had as many rebounds as shot attempts and more steals than to’s. I’d like to see this kid play.

Yeah, he does everything.  Except score.  And can't shoot the three.  So basically he's good at everything except the things you would expect a 6'1" player to be.

Glanced at his game log yesterday and iirc he’s only scored in double figures once in college, which is remarkable for someone who has played as many minutes as he has
