It’ll be one of the Bluest of Bloods. Kansas seems possible without having any background info.

Imagine you’re right. Gonna have to be someone with deep pockets because I imagine he’ll be asking for Donovan Dent money. I think he’s from south Florida, so maybe if Miami wants to make a splash with their new HC someone down there writes the check. Suppose Texas could do it and Miller certainly saw him up close. But more likely KU or someone like that. The one I think it wouldn’t be is UK. Bad scheme fit.

Can’t stand Calipari but I can never not laugh at his intro press conference.  Seems fairly familiar at the moment.  Plenty of hope knowing Cal took an underperforming Arkansas team to the Sweet 16 that really should still be playing.

Need Conwell.  Where does he land?!?  BTown or a Texas wasteland that will always be second fiddle to football and swimming & diving.

Just saw that Bidunga is going to be portaling potentially.

Where did you see that. I know 2 weeks ago the Kansas boards were concerned but then 2 days ago he said he had no plans to leave.

I could see Willard dropping a bag on Luis to get up and running at Villanova.  I think the young man will stay in the NE.

Coaches are doing it and have been doing it for awhile.

Some coaches even made it clear before the transfer portal that scholarships were 1 year commitments on the school's part. Crean's time at IU comes to mind. We even named pushing someone to transfer to get another player after him. So if the schools have performance based loyalty, it makes sense that players would have financially based loyalty.

Would be a nice get for us, but objectively speaking, this whole system is bulls#!t. Commit to a program and then threaten to transfer to renegotiate your NIL?

The system needs some tinkering for sure. My biggest concern is the exploitation of someone in their late teens and early twenties. The aau scene is terrible now, some are pretty upstanding but the majority are street agents.

West Liberty was put on the map by Jim Crutchfield and then he moved to Nova Southern.  Helluva good coach as is his replacement at West Liberty, Ben Howlett.

Beat them by 2 in 1997 when he was an assistant at West Liberty before getting the head job!
