I don’t understand why Phinisee picks up his dribble with no idea where the ball will go next.  I see it multiple times every game.  He dribbles to a spot on the court, picks up his dribble, then looks around for somebody to pass it to.  I don't understand why he does it and I don't understand why Archie allows him to keep doing it.  It's low iq basketball

I get that Michigan is good. The question is why are we so bad. Quite honestly, Miller said all the right things when he came in, but hasn’t lived up to anything. I mean nothing. There is nothing to look forward to if they retain him for another year. It will just be more of the same, he has said it himself. He is failing in nearly every aspect of the game and the program.

He has lived up to recruiting the state. That’s it. I’d even go as far as saying he’s recruited well enough to win here. This job has a way of shining a big, bright spotlight on a coach’s weaknesses. It’s going to take a very very special coach to get it done here. Unfortunately, I believe the job has become devalued so much, in the eyes of coaches, that we aren’t going to ever hire the right guy. We are in the abyss.

Dickinson isn't an NBA big man? He's impressed me more than Garza has. Asked to do far less but has some movement to him that I just didn't see from Garza. TJD was able to run circles around Garza in the first matchup and Dickinson is owning TJD today.

Dickinson is getting 15 and 8  in 25 minutes as a freshman center on #1 NCAA seeded team.  He's very good.  Not a lottery type pick in today's NBA, but guys who are 7'1", 255 who can score down low and move will always have a job in the NBA.

There were things I didn't like about the game today- missed FTs, missed lay ups, giving up too many ORs, but I am not near upset with this loss.
They loss by 16 to the team that is my choice right now to win the NCAA Championship. They have been beating almost everyone like this since they've been back from quarantine and even before.

Couldn’t agree more. Know the NBA is changing where guys who can move and shoot are more valued, but when I look at Garza and Dickinson and how they fared against TJD I’d take Dickinson in a heartbeat

The more and more I watch, when Rob is running the point it's like we are basically running with a 20 second shot clock.  Lots of time wasted dribbling going nowhere or doing what you just said.

I think we aren't playing very well.  I think maybe we might want to move on from Archie Miller.  Has this been discussed on the board?

There is a lengthy thread discussing why we should actually extend Archie Miller. Check it out!

Part low IQ and part skill level. A good defender can many times force Rob to do such things.

Went to the casino today.
Did I miss anything or was the same poor coaching poor shooting on full display?

We started the game on a 59-0 run and then promptly gave up a 75 point run.  So, now, nothing out of the norm.

On the post-game, Archie said Armaan likely done for the year.   "Armaan has a right foot injury, not his original injury. It seems to be a bone bruise more than anything. Nothing structurally wrong. It's a pain tolerance thing."

It'll be good him to just sit out. Worry about your future. This season is already lost. Get ready for a new coach or be thinking what new school you want to play for.
