yogisballin Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Happened before Archie’s press conference, was 3 teammates and blame is starting to get pointed in directions. Team is crumbling. Possible suspensions coming for this I’m told.Thats the post.Sent from my SM-J700T using TapatalkGood to hear. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Whoozhers Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Seems like we’ve had our own ruckus right here on the forum.A miserable a** team effort and coaching will do that.Thing is..... doesn’t seem the Hoosiers have found the bottom YET!Despicable.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

Golfman25 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Well if there was such a ruckus CAM needs to kick some rears. Need to cut out the cancers. His reaction here will tell us a lot. Quote

He did say after what I posted that he hoped the fact that CAM is still recruiting other 2019s that it would mean a couple of guys were getting the boot. I have my own thoughts as to 2 of the players involved but I'm not in the know by any means and I could be completely wrong as one of my guesses was in the post game presser so who knows. Quote
Popular Post ray Posted February 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 11, 2019 11 hours ago, Old Friend said: To summarize the thread : Green had no interest in anyone else taking that shot. His selfish, playground mantra got the best of him. Nobody was surprised. Some think we still need him. A couple (me included) disagree. Davis didn't play enough; Smith played too much. Smith and Green took too many shots. Morgan and Durham (who nobody seemed to see today) didn't take enough. And we still don't fit. I was puzzled how Al Durham, in my opinion IU’s second most consistent overall player (and arguably the player with the smartest basketball IQ), was placed on the bench for a very long stretch. Perhaps I missed something? Davis continues to prove how badly he was missed the past couple seasons. His type of presence is something IU doesn’t have anywhere else on the roster. The selfish play of Green on that last possession was too much to overlook. Not only was Rob wide open but he was waving his hands begging for the ball and Green had a clear pass to him. That was beyond frustrating. It may not have gone in, but it had a much higher chance. I wish Smith would quit shooting the three. Period. Is it just me, or does Romeo have a bad case of butterfingers? Forrester continued to be the most enthusiastic player on the team...albeit, from the bench. I still haven’t read the thread, so thank you for breaking it down for me. Life is too short to dwell extensively on the negatives, especially over a game played by teenagers which I have no direct input, so I’m going to try to refrain from reading too much of these post game analysis for a bit. As someone not on the coaching staff, I don’t need to analyze...and even if I do, what good does it do for me or for Indiana basketball. I’ve seen, and experienced personally, too much negativity this season. It’s time for me to step back and just hope for a couple more wins, and not dwell on the defeats. Thanks again for the breakdown! Much appreciated. MikeRoberts, ElectricBoogaloo, Stromboli and 5 others 8 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Free Jake!!If I were a guessing man from interactions I have seen at games my three would include some variations of Juwan, Justin, and Deron. I don’t see Romeo in that but wouldn’t be surprised based on how the game went down. Green could be another. But I am betting on two of the big guys. I don't know what happened yesterday. Yep I thought about that and know Green and Davis are close. If Davis was included, Green might have. Or vice versa. Maybe Al or someone said something to Green. Or Juwan said something to Smith or Davis. Some of the guys on the team are too cool for school. They wouldn’t have handled someone speaking up to them from the team. Personally I think CAM needed that more than anything. But you get to see daily interactions. I have only seen 9 games in person this year. Weirdest team I can remember. ray Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I have no idea what happened or who was involved in the altercation. I will just say that with only one guess, I would go with Smith (he seems to always be getting butt hurt and defensive because his teammates often holler at him). The second player would be Green. The third player (because he tried to get in the middle of it to end the stupidity) would be Juwan. I could also see something between Langford and Smith, as I’ve heard rumors there are issues between them...and possibly Phinisee stepping in to defend his friend. But, without knowing a thing, I’m guessing Green was involved and maybe Smith. Davis may have stepped in as it seems he may be tight with Green. What I’m really saying is, who freaking knows? This team is falling apart if they’re shoving each other after games, so it could be anyone. thebigweave and Bowhunter 2 Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Smith and Romeo are constantly bickering on the court after one of them messes up on the offensive end - at least that’s been my read. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners There was an instance in the MSU game where Romeo had a turnover and was walking back down the court. Justin Smith was faced away from the camera talking to him but you can read Romeo's lip "don't f##### touch (or talk) to me". I'll see if I can find the clip. I'm really doubting Archie would send him out if he was involved in a scuffle with emotions running high. I would say Juwan, Smith and Romeo. Romeo and Smith clearly don't like each other and Morgan is trying to be the leader at this point so him stepping in makes a lot of sense. Str8Hoosiers 1 Quote
