Are you watching the same game as me? He is completely clueless on defense...he is terrible at hedging and getting back to his man.  He also doesn't attempt to box out or fight for position to rebound the ball.
They could have called an illegal screen 3 separate times on the play they called the one they did.

I only saw him play a couple minutes. Ive seen enough of fitzner to know why he did not start last year.

I think you’re right. Regardless, our depth is currently atrocious. Give Archie credit for not losing this team. They keep fighting. Now if only they could start a game without digging themselves in a hole..

Heck of a 2nd half. Nice recovery. Just won a half of basketball against a team all these guys said was the best team in the country. With half the team on the bench. I feel we are right where we need to be. Great job by all the players. I have no complaints.

Yeah, I'm not too mad. I didn't realize we wouldn't even have Deron to pound it down to for 6 extra points instead of Moore. There is only so much IU is going to accomplish running 5 capable players, with everyone else wearing black on the bench. We have Clifton and Mcbob... 

If we don't get at least phinisee back soon, this season is about to take a bad turn. You have to remember, we are wearing Juwan into the ground right now. Might be some tired legs by late February .

Yes if we could only play 1 half that would be great. We lose another game on the road. Defense looked awful offense looked awful more and more turnovers. Yes I have no complaints either

I am happy with the results today. Even with the loss I feel we are a little better than what I initially thought but expect more losses in the near future with a short bench due to all the injuries.

This game would have had a different feel and look had Romeo and Juwan not picked up two fouls each before the first media timeout.  Take the two best players out of the game for any team in the country in a road game is going to be problematic.  Archie did a great job keeping those two on the floor to minimize further foul trouble.   Juwan was the best player on the floor in the second for either team.  I suspect the rematch in Bloomington will be a different looking game.

There is something to be said for having 51-150 guys who stick for four years.

They have 1 senior playing. Two sophmores and a freshman start. He is simply a great coach.

So just to be clear, we have 5 injured players.. pretty much no bench right now because of the injuries and lose by 11 on the road to an undefeated #2 team in the country team, and you are complaining? Ok then.
