Popular Post mamasa Posted December 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2017 Yes, the last game stung. But, soldier on Hoosiers! Game is on BTN • The Hoosiers have a 3-0 lead in the series which began in 1974. They also met in 1983 and 1993 with all three meetings coming in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. IU is 23-0 against teams from the Ohio Valley Conference. • Steve Payne is in his seventh season of guiding the Tennessee Tech program. He is 98-104 with the Golden Eagles. • Senior Robert Johnson has averaged 18.5 points in his last two games. He had 20 against Notre Dame and 17 against Fort Wayne. Johnson is now in 39th place on the IU all-time scoring list with 1,129 points and sixth on the school's all-time list with 193 treys. • Redshirt junior walk-on Zach McRoberts set a new Crossroads Classic record with seven offensive rebounds against Notre Dame, none bigger than his offensive rebound of a missed free throw in the final seconds and then the assist to Morgan for the game-winning layup. He followed that up with an IU career-best nine points against Fort Wayne. • Fifth-year senior Collin Hartman had a career-high 12 rebounds against Fort Wayne. • Junior Juwan Morgan, who had a record 34-point, 11 rebound performance in helping IU to an 80-77 overtime win over Notre Dame in the Crossroads Classic on Saturday, has been named NCAA.com and NBC Sports.com National Player of the Week and Big Ten Player of the Week. Str8Hoosiers Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Tennessee Tech is the 71st best 3 pt shooting team in the country.... 3 prolific shooters..... Are you worried? I am not personally, as I think this will be the beat down that it should be.... but could another team get hot on us from deep and cause us problems? Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I honestly don’t know. Since Indiana State and Fort Wayne did what they did, then why not Tennessee Tech? God forbid Quote
Stromboli Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Who's ready for the next huge embarrassing failure?? Go Hoosiers! Quote
indianaranger Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I do not think team is ready for this game great shooting teams kill us.This will take a year or two,Archie will get it done in time. Quote
IUrocker Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I guess I just don’t understand why players go with the “we didn’t come out ready to play mentally” comment after loses. The way I see, you need to play as if EVERY game is a Duke game, regardless of who the opponent is. I’d like to think their mental state should be the exact same going into every single game, which is to play your absolute freakin hardest, have that tough hard-nosed grit about yourself that says “we WILL NOT lose this game.” Easier said than done I guess? Yogi had that mentality about him, especially his senior year. I bet you we start to see that with a roster full of Archie recruits. In the meantime, I’ll continue to watch every game this year and root for this year’s team, hoping they come together as a group to decide enough is enough, we can do this. Let’s get this back on track tonight. johnsoniu, IUsafety, IUBBFan1970 and 3 others 6 Quote

HooHooHoo22 Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Well, I have no clue what to expect tonight. Only thing that’s been consistent all year is the other team hitting 3 after 3 against us. GO HOOSIERS ! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
