The two crystal ball picks for OSU are two kids IU are not really recruiting anymore. Musa we have kind of stopped and Hunter were waiting to see how he does in July but would take Garland and Phinisee over him.

I thought it was Eric Hunter in the crystal ball not Jerome. No offer to Eric but one to Jerome. Dang Hunters all have me confused.

Since it is Jerome Hunter in the crystal ball if he had to pick today OSU would probably be it. But the longer he waits the better it will be for us. The same with some other recruits. Archie is getting to know them more and more.

That's what I don't really get. OSU hired Holtman later than Archie. I guess since they're the home state school but still..

We are a crazy fanbase about certain things but we are a surprisingly forgiving and excuse making fanbase when it comes to recruiting expectations.

It's amazing really, since it's the program's lifeblood. We want to be considered a Blueblood yet we don't recruit like one.

Here's to hoping Archie can get that rectified.

Combination of J. Hunter being from Columbus and Holtmann was already recruiting Hunter while he was at Butler. Makes it a reasonable educated guess for the Crystal Ball. 

It's not too different from when IU got a bunch of crystal ball picks for Jallow early while Crean was here simply because he's from Bloomington. It's all just educated guesses.

You just have to use the crystal ball as a small piece of the recruiting puzzle. Crystal ball is Jerry Meyer and 247's baby. Since it involves 247 employees and independent websites there are only a select few that I pay attention to. When scout, rivals, espn and 247 are all reporting a recruit is leaning a certain way then that will get my attention. CBS owns 247 and they recently won the bid for Scout so it should be interesting what CBS will do moving forward. You might see rabjohns, Evan Daniels and Snow as crystal ball participants in the future

A lot of them wasn't at the last hour. I'm not the biggest fan of his but he is a good follower for recruiting info

Many recruits decide in the final hour. Hard to predict a location before the recruit does. 247 CB shows trends, sometimes following official visits but not always. Look at Jordan Tucker or Tremont Waters. They could have ended up at 4-5 different schools as things went along. Predictions are going to change.

I do know Meyer picked Wilkes to UCLA relatively early when many still thought IU was the leader.

I don't take 247 CB as gospel but it's not useless either.

I'm expecting a solid class this year. Crean was able to come in and recruit well at the beginning and he was a weirdo and the program was in shambles. There's no reason why Archie can't do the same.

Something tells me 247 isn't going to be an uplifting visit for us Hoosier fans.
