Brandon Johns would be a fantastic addition. Would be the type of recruit that could really kickstart a stellar class.

Love Bazley too.

Fascinated to see our pursuit of Thompson if we are lucky enough to get Johns.

Chris007 said he'd expect us to go after Thompson if we got Johns not sure if Bazley effects it.

Hoooly smokes, just watched some Bazley videos. What a talent! He'll be a major piece for a team. Hope it's us.

Completely agree. There's a new video of him on Inside The Hall.

  1. Handle.
  2. Quickness.
  3. Length.

Wow.

It's crazy to me that IU is getting zero picks.. I know the coaching staff is new and everything, but none at all??

It's just crystal ball, which turns out to be wrong a lot of the time until a few days before the announcement. I wouldn't put much stock into it at this point.

A kid could sign with us and there'd still probably be some people who wouldn't want to give us a pick.

For my money, it's a really useless feature.

It's a brilliant marketing tool, and I'm sure it drives a ton of page views to 247. Everyone reads recruiting articles hoping to learn that a recruit will be coming to their school. The Crystal Ball cuts out all those words and gives readers exactly what they want. Unfortunately, divorcing the prediction from the article means you lose all context for the pick. A Crystal Ball doesn't tell you the confidence that writer has in his pick, nor does it tell you if the pick is based on actual information. As it turns out, most of them clearly are not.

Oh, I agree. It's some of the best masked click bait on the internet and has tons of value for 247.

It's a definite microcosm of this day and age though. I think they'll pick Duke, no, UNC, no, now I think Duke. Wait a minute Meyers said Cincy. I think I'll pick Cincy, no Duke.Breaking" XYZ commits to UCLA" I pick UCLA.
