Honest question, you are suggesting we need an Indiana guy to help the coaches better understand our unique culture. If that is the case why are you suggesting it has not been done over the last 17 years?

IF there is an Indiana guy ready I would love to bring them in but just having one on the roster as an assistant is not something new. You mention 17 years later, well Davis, Sampson and Crean had former IU players on staff during that time period. So hiring an Indiana guy, just to have someone to bridge our unique culture has been done.

I would love to see Michael Lewis brought back to Btown. Has instate coaching experience at Butler and now some BIG experience with Nebraska. All time assists guy at IU and understands valuing the ball. Was a tough as nails guy for a small.

I loved watching Lewis ball out all over New Albany's state runner up team. NA couldn't do anything to stop him and they had a handful of really good players. Lewis was a grinder with a sweet stroke.

Exactly. Let's not forget that Davis was an assistant at IU for 3 seasons under RMK, the man who created this "culture", before he was hired as the header.

Were have you seen this? I haven't seen anything about Comer at IU and besides Elston wasn't the DOBO he was the director of player development.

I thought it was widely known that Arch was bringing two people with him which ended up being Comer & Olstram. Comer will be and already is the DOBO. Their already working on the schedule together. Elston is still with the team and could end up being the DOPD. As far as reported I don't know but I have seen it.

Just curious. I hadn't seen anything reporting that anywhere. I had seen that speculated but nothing confirmed.

Nothing can be confirmed until it as been posted for a certain amount of time due to University regulations.
