recker222000 Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 JBJ and TB gone to pro options? I don't know where other scholarships open up. I don't see Grant leaving IU.I think jbj is gone for sure and bryant 75% gone.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote
Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 17, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2017 Also worth mentioning. Our 3 recruits really like one another, talk regularly, and are excited to be Hoosiers. All seem to come from good families. All 3 will be easy to root for. Just hope we have enough firepower. recker222000 Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Am I correct that we are currently three over the limit of 13? Take OG out of the mix and that leaves us two over. My fear is that the writing is on the wall and TB and JBJ aren't coming back. Agreed.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

Popular Post Hoosierfan2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2017 I've been away all evening so I'm just now seeing the news. This is great stuff, I wasn't expecting Moore to stick with us. Archie was able to get three guys he didnt have relationships with to reaffirm their commitments when they could've picked from a number of different schools. He also convinced Collin to come back after he seemed like he was well on his way to moving on with his life. I might be jumping the gun, but I feel really good about Archie being able to recruit at a high enough level to compete for big ten and national championships. HoosierAloha Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Is a redshirt a possibility with Moore now? The best case scenario would be for TB to return for a roster looking something like..Green, NewkirkJohnson, Jones, DurhamMorgan, SmithHartman, McSwainBryant, DavisThat's a top 5 conference starting 5 with a few solid backups. If one of Smith, Jones, or Durham can be a consistent contributor off the bench a top 3 finish isn't out of the question. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

A RS takes up a scholarship... so putting a kid "on hold" for a year doesn't solve the 13 scholarship limit issue... 13 schollies and 15 kids... I'm sure Arch has an idea how this will work out, but I fear we lose a cog in the machine (TB, JBJ) rather than Gelon or MSB... Quote

Popular Post LamarCheeks Posted April 17, 2017 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2017 I've said this before and I'll say it again: Archie knows. ... He has to know who's staying and who's going or have a very, very good indication of such. Otherwise, he would've just let Moore or Durham go. They wanted out of their LOIs and if we were to remain oversigned, the easy thing would be to just release them. But he worked hard to keep them. That tells me he's pretty hip to the scholly situation and knows how it will play out. Stromboli, ALASKA HOOSIER, Class of '66 Old Fart and 6 others 9 Quote

I've also wondered about a player like Gelon transferring to a Jr college and then coming back after he has had a chance to hone his skills for a year or two. Quote
the possum Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Why do people keep saying the Priller and Gelon need to go? Under good leadership he can develop and the kind of role that Priller fills is invaluable to a team, but not many of you would know anything about that. When Crean finally let the thriller on the floor he was the most aggressive player we had all night. I would say that Bryant and Johnson need to go and develop the correct attitude and then return.
