I wasn't that ripped but I was pretty ripped at 18. God I miss that.

Marriage has destroyed what little bit was left.

I can feel ya' Brass.

Kids took the gym time away.

Beer and food intake increased.

Problem is, at 45, it's hard to get anything back now.

I take my 8 yr old with me..she swims or hangs out in the day care while I lift.. I balance swimming or other activities with her too though. My booze consumption has dropped over the last few years. Usually my coaching is what kills my lifting time 2x a year. I'm pushing 47 and can't hit what I did 10 yrs ago but not bad for an "old dad".

Summer Q&A with Zach McRoberts:

http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2017/6/29/mens-basketball-summer-q-a-zach-mcroberts.aspx

What have the coaches told you about what your role will be with the team?
"We are still working to define that role. But I am working every day to get better at whatever they ask me to do. That changes from day to day, but I'm just following Coach Miller's lead working on my game every day."

What are some moments that stick out from last year?
"I think it was a great experience to be part of the basketball team at IU and get some valuable minutes. I love being around the guys. That has been the best part of the experience, just being around everybody."

What is your mindset when you are out on the court?
"I think no matter what, I'm going to play hard when I'm out on the court. I just want to compete, play hard and try to make a difference. It doesn't matter what people think about me, I just want to make a difference any way I can."

What are some of your goals for this offseason?
"In the weight room, everyone just wants to get stronger and quicker. On the court, that can transfer to offense and defense. In terms of basketball, I just want to get more consistent and confident with my shot and that's been good so far.

"I just want to build upon what I did last year and be more of a threat on offense and defense and rounding my game out."

What has it meant to have Collin Hartman healthy and active in workouts this summer?
"He has been here four years and having that experience of talking to guys and explaining things has been really good."

What are you studying?
"My major is Economics. I am on pace to graduate this year and then hopefully start a one or two year program with my fifth year here."

7'3 according to this article. Wouldn't be surprised if it's even more.

Clifton Moore looks like he's filling out a bit. image.thumb.png.4b3ebcca917ce581d6642b4728c6c889.png

That's his "filled out" look? How skinny was he before?

A stiff wind wouldn't blow him over......it just wouldn't even notice he was there.
