That has to happen just to make the Illwhini soil themselves. Man, and that's the type of hire we need. We NEED the rest of the B1G to be terrified. I love the quote that stuck out to me: "Donovan at IU would be absolutely terrifying" CR3AMnCR1MS0N, Str8Hoosiers, BGleas and 10 others 13 Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Billy Donovan would be absolutely amazing and the rest of the B1G would collectively crap themselves. He is the type of coach that puts fear into other programs. IU hasn't had that coach since RMK kottke, CR3AMnCR1MS0N, BGleas and 4 others 7 Quote
Hoosier82 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Has anyone seen this Billy Donovan rumor post over on the Illini board? Sounds intriguing to me.http://www.scout.com/college/illinois/forums/2616-hoops-fan-forum/15394233-billy-donovanOh please let this be true and let that team be Indiana. I can only imagine what he could do at a true basketball school. I just wander if the money is there to pay north of 6M/yr for a contract. Things definitely get weird down here when you cross the river And also like the one reply in that"Indiana if anything. Hurryin'Hoosier317 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Just relax man. Crean is gonna be gone and a great hire will be madeIf only we were that lucky. I hope you're right. I can't see any reason to keep him at this point. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
schoosier Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 The more I watch Bennett, I would take a pass. His dad's teams were very slow but the paint has literally dried up the Miami game. Halftime 19-21. A few of VA first half possessions reminded me of the exact opposite of Crean. Walk it up, move very slowly on offense, then take a bad 3. I'm surprised Larranga hasn't put on a press and force the action like NC. Miami has more talent and a good coach. AKHoosier 1 Quote

Dalton26 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 If Billy Donavon to IU pops up on ESPN the collective college basketball world outside of probably Duke and U.K. would all be shitting their pants. ALASKA HOOSIER, Hurryin'Hoosier317 and HoosierAloha 3 Quote

Stuhoo Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Judson does the radio show instead of CTC tonight. Not sure if it's unusual for CTC to miss a week now and then. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
