Really sad state of IU bb! All of my dire hard Hoosier fan friends have stopped watching! My mind is telling me to stop as well but the die hard fan in me won't let me! Please show some mercy and can crean, my god how does someone get to this position and get paid so much with so little understanding of the game! Yeah he knows how to create a run and gun offense that scores a lot of points, but that's about it! Seriously how can you take kids that have played offensive sets and defense their whole careers and come up with these results! This is unbearable! Glass needs to get his head out of where ever it is and find someone else, like now!

Especially at this point in the year. This is often when people start saying freshman are not freshman anymore based on the amount of time and number of games played.

Yeah if you don't know to call out screens without a flash card telling you that, your team isn't that good. This team has talent but it's being wasted because of this coach that couldn't get himself out of a paper bag if his life depended on it

Frankly, I don't think he showed improvement at all last season. He lucked out by losing his worst defender and the defense improved unsurprisingly. That team should've been good from the beginning

What bothers me is people using the excuse of the injuries giving him a pass.

Robert Johnson- top 50 kid

Thomas Bryant- mcdonalds all american and future NBA player.

De'Ron Davis- top 50 kid in a stacked class. Probably a 5 star in this years class.

Curtis Jones- top 50ish kid..may be a little overrated but still has loads of upside

Juwan Morgan- 4 star by some services but has tons of potential. Jon Rothstein even said after the UNC game he could be a kid who has his stock skyrocket next year.

Devonte Green- high 3 star

Josh Newkirk- high 3 star top 150 kid


Point is Northwestern has Vic Law who was top 100. That is it. The level of play compared by the teams was pathetic even with the injuries today. We have 4 guys still who were top 50 recruits, so compared to half the other teams we still have more talent now. When were healthy it is embarrassing to struggle against Michigan who has Walton & Irvin as ranked kids. Maryland has Trimble, Hueter, Jackson & Wiley who has been hurt. Cowan was ranked but can't remember how high. Wisconsin doesn't even have that more talent than us with injuries. MSU is the only school w more players w talent. Point is Crean doesn't have the depth but enough to win STILL. IMO he doesn't have an excuse. Injuries happen...what prevents them from killing teams is good recruiting and developing. You cannot have a Priller, Gelon, or McSwain type kid on your roster let alone 3. McSwain if he was a freshmen I may take, but to compete at a high level you can only afford to take chances on 1 or 2 kids if your stacked. Coaching can fix good not great talent to be very good sometimes great. Our coach just doesn't have that ability. Enough with the excuses of excuses he can use. We need to hold him accountable.

The injuries are part of the problem. It's one of the biggest reasons programs have trainers: to train players correctly to limit injuries. While it's true that not all can be prevented, it's also true that they are more significant for us year after year than most other programs. While our training may make us great for the "All Airport Team," I'm not sure that it is making us better basketball players.
