Easier conference, easier to hide the cupcakes in the preseason. Plus, he seems to recruit decently around that area. Not saying he will do anything in the dance, but I'd say it would be easier for him there than it is here.

Lower expectation level.

There is much more than recruiting in coaching and he has failed miserably in almost every area other than recruiting. A polite no thank you for me. Beyond the rape case at Iowa, every school he has been at has been left in a worse spot than it was when he got there. I think the only exception was Manchester College.

Definitely aware more to coaching than just recruiting. Just my 2 cents. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I just do not see a lot of the coaches I see others wanting actually coming to IU.

Yes, he is.

Nebraska has a better basketball coach than Indiana.....

In your opinion he is a better coach. In my opinion miles is a downgrade He made it to 1 tournament since he has been at Nebraska and he got booted from that game. Plus he has lost to Rutgers. No thanks

I couldn't agree more, can't think of one reason I'd rather have Tim Miles then Crean.

Would it be bad form for us fans to plan a nice big going away party now for Crean? You know kind of a "thanks for cleaning this mess up and good luck at ___________"

We could rent billboards and airplanes with banners and maybe do some commercials. Make it a classy thing where we just assume he will be gone and we wanted to make sure we had time to say thanks first.

I have sent Glass 5 emails this week lol. Idk if he actually gets the emails personally from the email provided on the IU website, but the last one is marked as red. I like your idea a lot better though. For some reason I think Crean would enjoy it. He seems to like when the fans want him gone it seems. Holding up flash cards is a new low for us and I am honestly sick of this. I love this program and not just basketball but that is a lot of it, but I have lost all hope. How much more can Crean and Glass actually want to put our fan base through? We will see when the decision for Crean to stay or go is made. Idk if he stays if I can even get excited for next year. We lose a lot more talent than gain, so I don't expect anything to change.

If a new coach is hired not everyone is going to be happy. There will be complaints about anyone unless it's Stevens maybe, but I don't see him coming to IU or any other college program soon. He has got a good thing going in Boston and is just getting started.

I feel like Alford is the best option. I just believe it would be great for him and IU. He's recruiting lights out at UCLA and could see him doing the same here.

I literally just threw up in my mouth when I read Alford. There is nothing in his track record to warrant that statement. Plus he is not a good human being.

I'm absolutely sick of this ****! What the **** was that game? There was no game plan going into this game. NW is not that good! We made no adjustments. We relied on JN running the point. WE have DD fighting and scoring and we pull him out? This guy cannot coach at this level. I am done! This was the worst coaching I have ever seen at IU!! Coach Crean, thank you for getting our program back on track for education. But you are failing as a coach of a division 1 basketball coach! I could coach better and that isn't saying much if not nothing! Please, please, please just go away
