Old Friend Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Just now, Brass Cannon said: We are not in better shape than Kentucky. They will almost certainly be a better team next year. Where as we MIGHT be better. But without the dynamic guard that made us really dangerous our ceiling will probably be lower. Long term, I disagree with you. The house of cards is beginning to crumble down there. Next year by itself is irrelevant. As a stable program, we're in better shape than they are. Naturalhoosier 1 Quote

cjvz20 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 My thing is if Jbj doesn't get hurt do we even have this season or would Crean adjusting his coaching to not put all the defensive liabilities on the court at same time. I think the jbj injury saved creans job cuz he was not going to bench him or change his coaching. Just my opinion Hoosier42bbq, Alford Bailey, Brass Cannon and 3 others 6 Quote

Kentucky will start as a top 15 team of basketball players who want to get away from college as quickly as possible. UK players will play at UK. IU players will play for Indiana. rossellis and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote

Just my opinion Agreed his flat out refusal to stop playing guys who are hurting the team is probably my biggest gripe. I get that Troy showed up for the second half. But if last year Troy and been taught he had to reign it in to get PT, maybe Bad Troy is gone for this year. Instead Bad Troy was allowed to exist without consequence. Quote

X-Hoosier Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 If we have another year like 13-14 or 14-15 then he needs to be kicked to the curb. End of story. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Defenserocks28, FortWayneHoosier and Feathery 3 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 UK opens around 3-5. IU likely opens at 10-15 IF Tom and Troy return. Our recruiting class, although solid, doesn't command critical acclaim. Quote

My point is that is would have been easier to get into the Elite 8 vs Wiscy rather than one of the two best teams in the country (UNC). Quote

Yeah, I don't think. Maybe I'm wrong but losing Yogi, Troy, TB is too big to keep us ranked IMO. Nobody is worried about Juwan, Hartman, or Davis. Even OG has a long way to go as a regular contributor. Was/is a great hustle, energy guy with a bit of a do it all style. Converting to a more regular contributor will expose some weaknesses. Love him though. Quote
