if we win next 2 and make finals I think a 2 seed is possible. MSU, Maryland, IU, Purdue, Iowa all end up fairly high I think.

Iowa could drop if they lose to us, plus another 1 or 2.

Only thing I see not going his way is we were predicted to be a top 20 team, so some voters who don't pay attention will just say he did what he was supposed to do. If Iowa or Providence make a deep run, I see their coaches bringing home the hardware.

Props to Crean, he's really impressed me this year.

Looks like if IU goes 1-1 to finish out the year, Tom Crean has earned his right to stay, per my January 19th self.

Terrific rebound from the disastrous start in Maui and then the loss of JBJ.  I don't think on-court wins/losses the remainder or this year have any bearing on if he'll be back or not.  Glass will stand by his man.  The only thing I see that would cause Glass to terminate CTC is another off-court incident.  I believe CTC is on a very short leash in that regard; nothing to back that statement up, just my opinion.

Indiana just clinched a share of the Big Ten title. That’s 2 in the past 4 years for Tom Crean. IU won only 1 in the 15 years pre-Crean.

If TB does something silly like leaving I think I would be a bit forgiving also.

He is probably safe I agree but we have to do something more with these up years in NCAAs and the down years can't be so far down.

Many thought we needed to be elite 8 level for him to return before the season started. That was pre key player injury certainly but if we are good enough to win the big we should be good enough to advance past the sweet sixteen

Ole Tommy has delivered 2 BigTen titles to us. Let's pipe down a little. Hopefully he and team show up when it matters in a couple weeks. But let's be thankful! #Champs

Having a "project" big sitting on the bench that you continue to develop would be part of lessening the blow if TB were to jump after this season....
