I haven't watched any of their games so idk what he looks like playing for them, but at least stats wise his numbers look pretty similar to Thomas Bryant's. I guess he has done well, averaging 11 ppg this year, 12 last year, and 11 the year before. I do know earlier in the year he wasn't even starting, and Marquette wasn't even very good, so I was basing it off that. He certainly would have helped us the past few years, that's for sure. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersNah, Crean's assistant told Kyrie how great Duke was and what he could do there under K instead of discussing IU. As everyone knows that assistant was subsequently fired. Up to that point we were considered the consensus leaders for him. We were surprisingly dropped from his list after that in home. I don't see them as misses if we really never had a shot. Kyrie was iffy but I would probably add him to it just because it is Kyrie. Gary Harris showed us some interest but I think he was MSU's to begin with. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app yeah, Bruce Brown and Milton will be first rounders imo. Brown might be lottery pick if he stays at Miami another year. Quote

Ahh okay, I was just curious about how he's been doing up there. Being able to play him alongside Vonleh would've been great, but if he stayed TB might never have came so it all worked out in the end. Quote

I know for me, I always thought that by fischers senior year he would of been all big 10 if he would of stayed. While he has had a productive career at Marquette he never came close to the level I believed he would be. He won't be 1st team big east this year. He was overshadowed last year by ellenson. While a very good player not the difference maker I envisioned. He has fouled out of a lot of games this year as well. Even if Fischer would of stayed he wouldn't of played much along side vonleh. They were both 2013 so vonleh would of been out of the picture when Fischer would of been the main focus. Before he left I don't remember them playing much at the same time in the non conference Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners AKHoosier 1 Quote

Old Friend Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 The fact that Crean has missed on literally dozens of kids from Indiana in favor of players like Stanford Robinson, Tim Priller, Guy-Marc Michel, etc.... should tell anyone all they need to know. His focus has been shotgun, and it's cost him. Indiana spent > $600,000 on recruiting in 2015. Wisconsin spent about $60,000. Tom Crean can get enough kids to say yes, but he has no idea the kind of kids he needs to build a team that fits his style; and he has not recruited the kind of kids Indiana fans can get behind. Same as Mike Davis. People feel the same about James Blackmon as they did Bracey Wright. It eventually cost Davis his job, and it'll cost Crean his job. He never called Bluiett when he decommitted from UCLA; and he didn't recruit McIntosh. He just doesn't seem to really know what he's doing. We have a full roster; but a very poor team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersRoshown McCleod came here for one reason. He just did it better for other schools. He is the only assistant Crean has fired in his tenure. Well, he didn't "renew" his contract for the following season and it was one of those he was dismissed from the team when that was announced. What does recruiting budget have to do with getting the right kids? Wisconsins 2015 class just hasn't been good, so I am unsure of the relevance of them spending $60k versus our $600k. I personally feel the situations are so different they aren't close to being relevant. I actually like our 2015 class. The rest of your statement I absolutely agree with. His inability to build a team is what has cost him his job.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app AKHoosier 1 Quote

The stories that came out were hilarious. We could start a whole thread on that. The only thing we know 100% was Kyrie dropped us off his list and McLeod was let go. Looking back on the way Crean is with his assistants it must have been bad lol.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app hoosierpap 1 Quote
