I'm not sure where to post this but, CJ West upped his scout look for the NFL draft yesterday during practice for the Shrine Bowl.

Anyone have a feel for how Jr. day went this weekend?  I'm seeing a lot of high 3*/low 4*'s confirming visits and offers, but nothing beyond that.

Katic joined Barstool recently, will forego the NFL draft. Funny clip of him meeting Jon Gruden. Apparently Leal met Dave Portnoy at Hoosier Hysteria and made the connection. Portnoy told Katic to send him 3 clips of him doing media and then hired him on the spot lol. Leal is certainly an interesting guy!

Thanks for sharing. I wonder why he decided to forego the draft. Good for him. For selfish reasons I would have liked to see him pursue the league. But really happy for the guy.

I think Barstool/media is way more Katic's speed than pro football. I'm not a big Barstool guy, but it's a great spot for Mike as long as Gruden is around.

JMO-- I think those were reversed... 

We wanted more corner help/get better there... so JJ decided to leave.

OL Trey Wedig has also upped his NFL scout look at the East West Shrine Bowl. The two Hoosiers on the roster (CJ West and Trey Wedig) have turned heads this week. I think it's safe to say NFL scouts will start visiting Btown more frequently now. Not that they haven't already but it's probably going to happen a lot more now.

- Running back Solomon Vanhorse will be back for his eighth season of college football, missed most of 2022 and 2023 from injuries

- DB Josh Philostin has entered the transfer portal

- OL Cooper Jones no longer on the team
