Indiana is more than sneaky-good; the Hoosiers just might be good. Hiring Curt Cignetti away from James Madison has brought newfound life to the Indiana offense we have not seen since Kalen DeBoer, or even Nick Sheridan were in Bloomington. This team played hard under Cignetti's predecessor Tom Allen for years but became so moribund offensively. There will be at least three teams in the Big Ten making the playoff, possibly four, and maybe even five if the SEC cannibalizes itself. After Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State, who is going to emerge as No. 4? It might be Michigan, it might be USC, it could be Illinois, possibly Nebraska, but what about Indiana? This is a team many picked to win only a few games. Now they are one win away from a bowl. We have been late to arrive to the Indiana party, but I think this is going to be one worth staying at. mamasa and thebigweave 1 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 My heart is bleeding - NOT 2026 4-star QB Oscar Rios has decommitted from Purdue. He is the second recruit to back off his pledge to the Boilermakers this week. southsidehoosier, thebigweave, Joe_hoopsier and 1 other 4 Quote

Hovadipo Posted October 5, 2024 Author Posted October 5, 2024 Is that gonna go down as a worse hire than Hazell? I wasn’t sure if that was possible. mamasa and Demo 2 Quote

Yeah, if you’re on a national broadcast and getting you’re a$$ beaten so badly that announcers are talking about the rules for shortening the game, there is no coming back from that. You are dead man walking. Firing your OC is not gonna do it. mamasa, MemphisHoosier, Hovadipo and 1 other 4 Quote
