Whoa - in the grand scheme of things (this ain't a violent crime, y'all) that is a pretty harsh penalty.

The postseason $$ is a killer esp. with revenue sharing now. I'm curious how their accountants will fudge the football budget so half their staff and expenses become part of another sport or a general fund. The 3rd game Moore misses next year is vs. Western Michigan.

Wow, that sounds excessive. NCAA is in a death spiral. Seems like one more straw that will eventually break the camel's back for the B10 and SEC in terms of accepting the NCAA's authority.

Next week Michigan soccer will be invited to play one game at the stadium so that all the field maintenance can be changed soccer budget

What a joke of a “punishment.” Cheat your a**es off and then pay a fine. And this isn’t even your typical “cheating” by way of paying players. This is cheating during games themselves.

Gotta get rid of the conference championship games or the season is gonna be longer than the NFL's.

Edit: Read the article and I'd prefer having each conference get an auto bid with that many teams. There's only like 10 of them at this point. We really need the 4th/5th best team from the Big 12?

Kennesaw State QB Dexter Williams will be the starting quarterback and will debut against Wake Forest in the opener at Wake Forest on Aug. 29. He's a transfer from Georgia Southern and Indiana, where he spent 2020-23. Kennesaw plays at IU in Week 2.

I was just pumping the 24 team layout because it already works for the NCAA. And the format is pretty good.

If the NCAA had any power left, they would step in and institute something, but they don't have the power anymore. The NCAA is a joke of a governing body anymore.

I can live with the 24 if they can eliminate the conference championships, but they won't do that because that would be money those conferences would lose.  It sounds like Tony Petitti has made promises to TV networks and is looking for ways to keep them.
