Hoosierfan1901 Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 Seeing OSU win an championship makes me wish to see IU win a Basketball National Championship for the first time (Thanks a lot 2002 Maryland) southsidehoosier 1 Quote
go iu bb Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 ESPN's too early top 25. They have IU at 17. Still not getting much respect. Cig and the team will just have to show them again. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/43452580/way-too-early-college-football-top-25-ranking-2025 Stuhoo 1 Quote

Not the same record. Good, but not outstanding. Quote

That range is a better launching point for next year than this year when we (rightfully) weren’t on the radar. moyemayhem and rayl456 2 Quote

Pagoda Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 Penn St. is offering $3.2M to OSU’s Jim Knowles to be their DC. Huge offer. ND and Oklahoma also in the mix. go iu bb 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Chip Kelly leaving O$U to be Pete Carroll's OC in Vegas. That means Ryan Day loses both coordinators. I would say that might create a few grey hairs -- but he'd just cover 'em up with black shoe polish anyway. LIHoosier, Pagoda, Hovadipo and 1 other 1 3 Quote

Pagoda Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 Alabama is looking to follow Georgia and exempt NIL from state income tax. Of course there are also states like Florida with no income tax that also have this advantage. This is kinda diabolical. It’s not a ton of money, but I guess to be competitive I hope Indiana does this, we have three big schools in this state that would appreciate it. https://www.si.com/fannation/name-image-likeness/nil-news/alabama-bill-follows-georgia-effort-exempt-nil-earnings-from-tax WayneFleekHoosier and Home Jersey 2 Quote

Everyone should call their jobs NIL related…LOL It’s a slippery slope when one type of job pays no state income tax while all other jobs in that state have to pay (in states with an income tax). Just think of being a garbage collector in Bama paying state income tax while an 18 year old QB gets a million a year tax free. BS. Home Jersey 1 Quote
Lebowski Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Tragic news out of Fishers, Indiana. Mason was a 4 star that made an IU OV during the summer last year. VPC, OliviaPope40, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote
