5-5 OK beating Bama

4-6 Auburn beating A&M but in both cases it will be spun as proof that the SEC is so deep that OK is only 5-5 while similar BT teams like Washington and Michigan suck. I’m really tired of the SEC narrative.

This. Imagine the precedent it would set for the USC, Washington, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan’s if you say an 11-1 season isn’t good enough in the B1G.

Agreed, but I don't think the committee gives a **** about precedent. They can make up new rules each year with no consequence.
