The Bama fans could not have been nicer or more gracious and all “y’all will figure it out,” as they were beating Mizzou’s brains out. Was super impressed in the moment and it didn’t hit me until later that that whole southern gentility thing was really the most superior, condescending a-holery in the entire world. Bless your heart. The exact same deal when we played at Kansas a couple years ago. It was nice til I realized they just didn’t think we were worth a f***. (And we weren’t, to be clear, but only WE get to think that) MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

LIHoosier Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Much like the days of yore, Good Troy in the 1st half, Bad Troy in the 2nd half with Iowa's best offensive play, a pick 6. Stuhoo 1 Quote
Demo Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 The announcers in the Purdue game talking with Gene Steratore about how to shorten the game is the greatest thing in the history college football. LIHoosier, MemphisHoosier, thebigweave and 2 others 3 2 Quote
Hardwood83 Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Just saw on the B1G network that 66pts today was the most Purdoo has ever given up! Ha ha, suck it Toilet-makers. That does surprise me a little though, they don't have a stellar history either. Quote
Demo Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Targeting call in the Wyoming-BYU game. BYU receiver coming across the middle extends for a ball a bit in front of him. His feet tangle with the DB covering and he starts to fall forward. A DB peeling back to the play is running by him, literally trying not to contact the guy, but with his balance lost the receiver falls into him and his head contacts the DB’s shoulder. The contact is 100% initiated by the receiver. And the DB gets pitched for targeting. He was literally trying to avoid the kid. They have GOT to revisit that rule.
