Absolutely. Dude left the NFL to coach his alma mater. Love it. On the other hand, people have been telling me for the last 3 years that Marcus Freeman is the next big thing as he loses home games to NIU and a $hitty Stanford and Marshall. Maybe let the guy marinate a bit before we crown him.

Got a feeling Deboer will take back play calling by the end of the year. It’s his offense from the front of the playbook to back, but having Sheridan call it is a wild move. That man can’t call 911.

Thomas Hammock. Was friends with him in Middle School and high school. He’s a good guy and was a tremendous wrestler and football player in his day. That was pretty special to watch.
