We had the talent to succeed regardless. But people are always gonna write it off cause of the circumstances surrounding it MemphisHoosier, Hovadipo, DChoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

Josh Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Purdump needs to be renamed the Mediocremakers. They're great at nothing...just mediocre at sports across the board Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 It’s insane to me that guys get ejected for weak ‘targeting’ penalties that are nothing more than guys making football plays but an absolute cheap shot like the one on Travis Hunter doesn’t get you ejected. https://x.com/nfl_dovkleiman/status/1703243714624200988?s=46&t=LoczziaTWuqlhvyvHGT92A pappy1865 1 Quote
Josh Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Colorado was a fun story to watch this year, but now the Deion Ssnders slurping from the media has made them impossible to watch mamasa, WayneFleekHoosier and KingPG21 3 Quote
Demo Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Remember when the SEC used to be, ya know, THE SEC: Florida road loss to Utah South Carolina home loss to North Carolina LSU neutral field loss to Florida St Bama home loss to Texas Arkansas home loss to BYU Texas A&M road loss to Miami Unless I’m forgetting one, their best out of conference win is Mizzou’s home win over Kansas St on a last play 61 yd fg. pappy1865 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Obviously no dog in this fight. But, thoughts on the absolute dirty hit by CSU's Henry Blackburn on Colorado's Travis Hunter? pappy1865 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 And then this targeting penalty. Not even close to the dirty play that sent a Colorado player to the hospital. Please. Make it make sense! Sent from my SM-G986U using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Hardwood83 Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 SEC does look very pedestrian. That brings up a question, who looks like a really good/great team though? I haven't watched Michigan, USC, Penn State or Washington(!) yet. Georgia, Texas, FSU, OSU, ND....none of them look like #1 to me. I am SOOOOO ready for Bama to lose a couple more games and be out of the discussion. DO. NOT. LIKE. Quote

Agreed, but he's a big personality and is the new shiny thing, it has been a compelling story so far.....I am calling my shot that his approach is not sustainable though. I'll call my shot and say: A) CU is gonna wilt under the constant spotlight, losing at least 4 games and B) Deion won't be at Colorado in 3yrs. I am not sure if he's a good coach or not, at Jackson St and so far at CU he's gotten by on superior talent. Good win at TCU, but struggled at times againsts overmatched NU & CSU at home, actually shoulda lost Sat. Quote

How many years now has college football been the Bama/Georgia/SEC show? They (with schools like Clemson/OSU,LSU sprinkled in) have dominated the landscape. Not saying that Colorado is a title contender or anything, but Deion and Colorado are something new and exciting. I like it, personally. Redcamaro and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote
