Breakaway dunks and rebounds are the only times they get to see the ball. If Poole is starting at Michigan, I like our chances against them for the next four years. Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 So not sure where to put this, but Tremont Waters is probably gonna end up at WKU. Still wish he was gonna be a Hoosier, WKU is building a amazing class. 3 top 60 players. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Sent from my iPad using BtownBannersUnfortunately recruiting the state slowly went away from being a focus. Unfortunate when recruits will admit that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app The Crean era tried hard enough in-state; it just seems to me that the more the in-state recruits and coaches got to know them, the less effective their efforts were. I believe that he genuinely believed in himself and his abilities. However, I think he was an overeager, odd duck that had an off-putting way about him, and that's what screwed the pooch for him in-state. His personality just didn't click with a lot of kids and their families. Would really like to hear from some of the top in-state talent we lost in the last couple of years just what it was that turned them off to FCTC and IU. Inquiring minds want to know! lillurk 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Earlier this month this from Crimson Quarry: Robby Carmody. A four-star SG out of Mars HS in Mars, PA, Carmody has deep ties to the Miller family. Ranked #83 in the class of 2018, the 6’4”, 185 lb SG has unlimited range and could become a focus for Indiana. This from Corey Evans today: Notre Dame head Mike Brey completed an in-home visit w/'18 guard Robby Carmody; Matt Painter/Purdue expected tonight. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I hope it's Phinisee just because we'll have rescued him from Pigtown and I think it sends a louder message that IU has a new sheriff in town plucking him out from under Painter's nose. But I won't be disappointed if it's Jallow. Crimson and Cream, Stuhoo, VO5 and 4 others 7 Quote
