Technically he could of already canceled his UCLA visit but hasn’t hit the media yet. Same for Langford. Sometimes you don’t know it’s cancelled until that weekend comes

This may not be the appropriate thread to ask this is in, but since it was brought up i figured id ask. Obviously IU is in a great position with TJD and a commitment sometime in the near future seems likely. I feel IU will try and sign some combination of 3 out of TJD, Brooks, Watford, and Hurt. Based off what has been shared on this board it seems like IU is also in a good spot with Brooks. Do you know who IU is prioritizing between Watford and Hurt, and does IU have a good shot to sign either?

I think we would find room for all of them. But just not sure if Brooks and Watford would want to play together. They seem like the same player. Me personally I like Brooks the best from all of them. But I think if we want Watford he is ours. I would say Hurt might be out of our league but were about to land two top 10 guys so that's not true. But he seems like a Duke kid to me.

So I just realized something, this year looks pretty close to 2011-2012. Tons of young talent, but not expected to do much. #1 team coming to Assembly hall in the non conference schedule. Super hyped up recruiting class coming in next year (although the movement pretty much flamed out). I know it doesn’t mean anything but it’s kind of cool. I could see us having a similar year to 11 and then being a top 5 team preseason next year.

Gotta go with Brooks there. In state so continues to make it cool for Indiana kids.

That to me would be the class.  Assuming Watford or Brooks can play the 4 and TJD can play the 5 at times.

The difference is in losing only VJIII to losing Newkirk, Johnson, MSB, and Hartman.

I hope we can get both. Get Brooks to send a message to Izzo as he doesn’t have his pal coaching IU anymore and he should be less successful recruiting the state of Indiana. Get Trendon because I really enjoyed their family when Cwat was at IU and of course they’re both very good players!

I agree, a bit wing heavy, but for me, I’d have a tough time turning away either of these particular five star players. It may be moot when all is said and done, but it’s fun discussing the possibilities!....now back to Garland[emoji106]
