We all knew there was a good chance Newman would go pro.

 

I still think Indiana is the best showcase for Romeo's game and his brand. Luckily he and the family are intelligent and thorough.

Just gonna throw this out there. Living in the Center Grove area, I talk to a guy at the gym who is connected to TJD and family and he said Romeo is announcing next Thursday and it's IU. Again he has zero/little credibility in regards to Romeo and all reports are saying announcement coming between April 13-30. If we hear any news that Romeo in fact will announce next Thursday April 12, then maybe just MAYBE, he knows something we don't and could be good news for us.

Your guy should do some legwork before spreading rumors like that one. Next Thursday, Romeo will be out of the state and across the country, practicing in Portland OR for the Nike Hoop Summit game to be played the next day. April 12 is perhaps the least likely day on the calendar for Romeo to commit to his home state of Indiana and their Adidas-sponsored basketball program.

I'm pretty sure even with the good stuff that BW smokes he still doesn't believe in Alford. But Romeo to UCLA would still be better than Vandy. :-)

I've heard multiple times from someone who is very connected in Indiana High School and AAU circles that he has reason to  believe Romeo is going to IU. I'm not going to say who this source is but trust me when I say he's very connected.
