Bailey7878 Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Let's see the alpha dog push back against 4000 of Romeo's closest friends.Exactly the alpha dog has a fight on his hands. Just admit it dm.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote
Popular Post ap2345 Posted January 27, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 27, 2018 So Drew was in attendance at Southport when Romeo left the game to IU chants and Self was in attendance tonight when Romeo left the game to IU chants. I love it. Class of '66 Old Fart, CSP, IUsafety and 12 others 15 Quote

Me So Hornsby Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I feel like it’s a good sign that the Langford’s are not going to make it to KU and aren’t gonna make it to a game at Vandy. Although we must all be afraid of those “pro style practices” for the worst team in the secSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners southsidehoosier 1 Quote

Beachfront Property Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Just now, Stuhoo said: I wish and hope they go to a game at Vandy. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Exactly. Bryce Drew doesn't want Romeo to come down for a game. I hope the Langford's realize that Vanderbilt doesn't want them down there for a game because 1. Vandy is awful and 2. They play in a gym with no fans. Hopefully the Langfords realize this - I am sure they do. Iugradman and MikeRoberts 2 Quote

He said that he looks to see how a coach adjusts during a game. When he said that he looks to see what kind of in bounds play a coach can draw up out of a timeout, all I could think about was, "Thank heavens Tom Crean is gone." Yes, and the comment about looking at who's coming back and who's coming in could bode well for us. mamasa 1 Quote

HinnyHoosier Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Romeo likes the offense. He recognizes our guys are not utilizing it to its full potential, and still feels Archie is getting a lot out of them. I think they understand that the combination of returning players + incoming recruits at IU probably gives him the best chance to have some degree is success while also allowing him to be "The Guy". I also wonder if Tim was keeping information on communicating with RP close to the vest. While likely true that they don't communicate much (seeing as how they're currently each other's competition for a state title), I'm a little hard pressed to believe Tim knows how much communication there is with Garland and Grimes but not RP.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

AKHoosier Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 A lot to like in that ITH article, until I got to the part where he doesn't talk to Phinisee as much as Garland or Grimes. But ultimately I just don't think that's going to be a big deal. Those are 5 star guys who played against each other in AAU and All-Star games who keep in touch. NBA guys have the same camaraderie too and it doesn't always mean they end up playing for the same team. I just can't see an alpha scorer like Romeo wanting to be in the same back-court as Garland. DG will get up as many shots as he can because he's used to carrying a team. He's a scoring point guard. And as far as waiting to make his decision - he probably just wants to see how each team ends their season. I mean honestly if IU ended up going 14-17 he'd probably think we aren't nearly ready to be competitive next year. He doesn't want to play for a loser next year, that's for sure. Quote
