 What stands out about this is how did nobody see or know about this tweet at the time? All that takes is one retweet and it's spreading like wildfire, especially considering the timing. But nobody got a hold of it.

My guess is anyone relevant in the recruiting game who did see it trusted their own sources way more than an apparent unknown. I.e. this probably wasn't likely. But hey, you never know anymore. Thanks for sharing.

Kentucky has us beat in a few sections.

Fewest teeth per capita.

Shallower gene pool.

Number of borderline/totally illiterate persons.

Heck, the handful that know how to turn on a computer probably think the CD rom drive is a cup holder.

EDIT:  Full disclosure, I work in IT and I've heard of a person thinking their CD drive was a cup holder....  Not one of my users (thankfully).

I still think Romeo goes to IU but I’m done getting my hopes up. I finally learned my lesson with IU football and I’ve now learned my lesson with IU basketball. I’m gonna be a “believe it when I see it” type of person

Romeo has the chance to solidify himself as an Indiana basketball legend just below Damon Bailey in terms of high school and college careers. That won't happen if he leaves the state to play in college and I think Romeo knows this.

If we're talking chances, he has the chance to place higher than him too I think.

He could by that would be dependant on how many points he scores this year, if he wins state, and what his career at IU looked like as far as scoring average and tournament success.

Also everybody needs to hope that Grimes signs with Kansas tomorrow so they will be oversigned by 1 and their only guaranteed player to leave early is Billy Preston which would put them at 12. That could then make it IU vs. Vandy for Romeo.

My guess is we are going to see this type of stuff for the next four months. One week it's Kansas. The next week he is staying at garlands house so he is their commit and on and on it goes.

If Shittu signs with Vandy like everyone says then they would be oversigned by 1. Teams are going to recruit who they want and worry about how they get to 13 later. That’s how it is these days

It would be easier for Vandy to kick someone to the curb than it would be for Kansas. Kansas will be loaded at the guard spots with Vick, Moore, maybe Newman could go pro, Garrett, Dotson, and Grimes.

They were calling DG to Vandy the whole time tho since they started. They said they have sources through AAU, high school coaches and are actually somewhat in contact with some families. They have been right on everyone I’ve looked so far and I checked they called it before the actual pick

Just my opinion, but those worried about scholly's and Romeo shouldn't. Any school he chooses will make room for him as they should. Gonna be a battle to the end. Romeo is fully aware of what kind of legacy he could build in state believe me. I think his whole family does, but KU is always gonna have a talented roster and Vandy is gonna be appealing with DG. Has anyone heard info about Shittu? Haven't heard a peep on twitter or anywhere. If he waits it out, Vandy has to be worried.

Just going to say this, and this is only logical. Romeo won't go to Kansas if they have 4 or 5 great guards that he would have to split minutes with. That takes away from his draft stock and lose him a lot of $$ and that's actually the ultimate goal. Kansas is appealing, but being a guard fighting for a start, is not. Yes, I know Romeo is a supreme talent, but with the upperclassmen guards Kansas produces, he would likely not start right away. I think it's down to Indiana and Vandy.
