Hoosier Guy Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 If Romeo stays healthy, yes he’ll be better than Gordon. Now had Gordon stayed healthy, it wouldn’t be a debate Quote

Brass Cannon Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I would say Romeo is better. Certainly seems more complete Quote
AKHoosier Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 The only time rankings don't matter is when we're not getting the highly-ranked kids. Because then the only thing that matters is heart and hustle. When we do get the top 10 guys, then rankings matter. Or something like that. Popular Post Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted October 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 28, 2017 Woah. People seem to be forgetting just how GOOD Eric Gordon was. He was im the same class as Derrick Rose. Gordon if he had stayed healthy during his IU career he was a top 3 pick. His wrist made teams very shy. If he stayed healthy in the NBA who knows. He wouldn't have been Kobe or Wade but easily one of the better sgs in his prime. Romeo is absolutely awesome, but to me it is an easy choice if healthy. Not many kids have been better than Gordon in HS tho so not a knock whatsoever against Romeo. Jeff_Boy_Ardee, MemphisHoosier, MIUGA and 6 others 9 Quote

Guys didn't play together all that much like now and some teams had some BAD players. Surprised some teams just didn't forfeit. Sadly, we had a shot with Rose too. What could have been!! Quote
MikeRoberts Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Word is Romeo is very much enjoying his visit so far. A lot more than expected, BUT and I mean BUT with no one freaking out it isn't seen as nearly enough so far. KU has flipped their "priority" to Romeo with Grimes starting to be fond of UK. Personally I'm not worried and we all knew this was probably gonna be the case so let's not act like the sky is falling. Did self take him to Munchers this morning? Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Gordon was the best shooter in the class along with the most athletic besides maybe Rose and a few others. Was a great defender and rebounder too. Passing may have been his only weakness but it wasn't like he was bad at it just never needed too lol Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app All jokes aside his visit being great so far actually has hardly anything to do with Self. He is being a teenager and enjoying himself. The thing with IU which he loves is all the attention. So far it has been the opposite there and it kinda sounds like he is just enjoying a little break from all the craziness. Brass Cannon Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Gordon's 247 rating was .9993 Langfords is .9984. At Margins that small it's not ridiculous to argue which player is better. 8bucks, lillurk and IUsafety 3 Quote
