Old Friend Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I might try to get one to him. I'm not big on autographs, though. I wish I was using a big boy camera and not an iPhone, because that would've been a pretty awesome picture. I think it's pretty good for an iPhone. If I were Hartman, that's one I'd keep. HoosierAloha Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 How did we do? Pretty well it looks like..? Bad Troy started out with some assists to Neb. We closed the first half with some good momentum. Great, not good, great Troy came out and dominated the start of the second half. Neb was never closer than 8 after that. Yogi got his 35+ minutes too. Yogi had about 3 threes that were halfway down but crawled out. I feel like he is about to breakout with a huge game after his shooting performance tonight. Edit: Troy also made some good decisions passing to the open man without attempting the glory pass. He was also extremely efficient from the field. Scooter D Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Seemed like OG was forcing it instead of letting it come to him. Seems like Morgan is starting to get it. Good win...now let's beat the p**s out of the Boilers. HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote

hoosha61 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Started shaky but retained momentum before the half. Troy set the tone to start the half and we never looked back. Juwan had his best game as a Hoosier, our future looks bright with this frosh class. On to Sat. Purdues front line is formidable. We will need to play our best to get the W. Go Hoosiers! Whoozhers Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Always the basics and simple things. Just as John Wooden would teach his players how to put on their socks and shoes ....... Troy needs it driven into him before and during the game what color of uniforms the Hoosiers are wearing. **TROY.... WE ARE WEARING WHITE SATURDAY NIGHT!!!** **WHITE** GO HOOSIERS!!! 716e11th Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Our man defense was horrible the first half. NU was beating everyone off the dribble and getting to the rim way too easily. Glad they fixed that. Odd question- in the first half, Myles is halfway on the court during our offensive possessions. Could one of our players toss a ball at him? Would it be a technical on Myles for being on the court? 8bucks 1 Quote

Popular Post Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 18, 2016 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2016 So are we going to ignore how absurd Troy was in the second half last night? Dude gets ripped for only hurting the team, and then essentially wills the team to a commanding victory in the second half. About half way into the second, Indiana was +16 with Troy on the floor. He had four turnovers in the game, but only one in the second half. I know, not a great opponent, but we did not play them well in the first half, and Troy was a catalyst for our victory in the second. We saw him sit out on the wing and slash a ton last night. Really hoping we see that continue... ALASKA HOOSIER, BTOWN, ThompsonHoosier and 6 others 9 Quote
Str8Hoosiers Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Good Troy showed up but still too much PG Troy, sometimes bad shots fall... Glad they did and the more you practice bad shots the more often they will fall, I'm not talking about luck... It is a skill but they are still bad shots ... Even in the midst of Troy taking over the game I was yelling at him to roam the baseline and stop standing at the top of the key waiting to reset as the PG. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

TrueHoosier62 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 There's a great movie from back in the fifties, called "The Three Faces of Eve" starring Joanne Woodward, that's based on an early days case of dissociative identity disorder, (multiple personality disorder). I would submit to you that we have a similar version called "The Two Faces of Troy" at IU. None of us is sure which "Troy" will show up at game time, and I'm fairly certain that neither does he or his coach. Like the movie eventually reveals, it must be something that happened in Troy's childhood, deeply rooted in his subconscious, and involves a profound fear and distrust of basketball fundamentals. Perhaps, as a child, he was forced to watch replays of Purdue basketball during the reign of Gene Keady or perhaps Pat Keady's image on the television screen, nestled in the dark shadows behind the player's bench at Mackey arena, scarred little Troy emotionally. We may never know. Class of '66 Old Fart, Beowulf50, Naturalhoosier and 3 others 6 Quote
Popular Post bleedhoosier Posted February 18, 2016 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2016 Colin...hartman... I think he is injury free finally. His shot coming back around is absolutely a knife in the other teams back. And OG, Morgan and a little niego sprinkled in can be absolutely huge for fresh competent legs down the stretch. Our bench this year us what makes this team slightly better, in my opinion, than the zeller/hulls/oladipo squad. This team is better built for the tourney. Ryno6284 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Had to switch to radio...stream went down. Sounds like Troy and Juwan had a good game I had the same problem! I thought it was weird it went down at halftime, but other games still worked. Can't pick up 1250am after the sun goes down where I'm at. Quote
