Smart. Any desirable recruit should avoid signing as long as they can. Verbal is plenty since it allows you to react to any sudden changes on the team without having to rely on the grace of being released.

That's how I took it as well. I think overall his gap lessened, but IU is still leading.

That can go both ways, he doesn't want to give his top choice with his decision looming. Or, like you say, either it's tied or Miss St is leading. I think we are just fine.

Man, all I can think is how unreal that class will be if they woo both DD and Kegler. Going to be an interesting week or 2. Also wonder if new names will emerge on the recruiting circuit. The fact they haven't yet gives me hope still.

I believe it's you that often talks of what's our Plan B, and the fact that new names aren't suddenly starting to appear hopefully indicates we don't need a Plan B.

I think Kegler was plan B behind Bridges as a plan A. Many times a name pops up ahead of the announcement once we know we are out of the recruitment. Seen this countless times. Kegler actually is an example of this I think. Anyway, keeps hope alive.

I still feel good about Davis and I am actually starting to think we may get Kegler too. I still have to believe reason will prevail.  No real good reasons to pick MSU over IU. I liked Kegler's earlier comments that he wanted to play for a team that would contend for an NCAA title.  Is that really Mississippi State??  NO!  Go Hoosiers!

Newark, New Jersey is the definition of  "Much better than I thought" these days. They went hardcore on the crime cleanup in the early 00s and it's just a regular city now.
