(2016) PF De'Ron Davis to IU

Recommended Posts

He looks sort of out of shape. Idk if the game plan going in was to share the love and no one player do too much, but he just looked a little unagressive. I'm still really excited about him. He's gonna be a really good multi year player for us.

When will we know who is going and who will stay? Could it be uncertain through the summer even?

Wouldn't expect it to drag that long.  Anyone looking for a new home can't wait too long or openings at their preferred destination(s) will get filled with other commits.  I believe most coaches prefer to have their roster solidified by the end of the current semester to better plan summer workouts.  By this time, CTC and staff have surely had their individual close out meetings with the underclassmen and if they're open and honest, which I'm certain they are, every member of the team knows where they stand going into next season in terms of what they need to work on in the off-season and what they can expect in terms of playing time.

Congrats DD. awesome honor.

That is a weak set of past winners. Go Chauncey Billups!

Not a lot of names on the list that are overwhelmingly recognizable but when De'Ron's career at IU is finished, hopefully his name will be just as recognizable as Chauncey's.

Was not trying to knock DD with 2nd remark. He will be great for us and it is a huge honor. Just a side note as a shockingly unremarkable list before him.

Would be neat to look at all states and compare from 1990-2016. Grade achievements and rank the states in some fashion. Indiana would surely hold its own.

Never crossed my mind that you were.
