People said Kellen Dunham sucked back a few years ago. Gelon would have went to Butler had we not grabbed him.

Kellen Dunham was a Top 100 recruit. Gelon is I'm guessing Top 1000. For now. Maybe a commitment to IU will get him ranked somewhere.

I like the pick up. 6'6 and can shoot. A year to develop and take direction from the staff. Could play like Hartman or let us have mismatches at the 2 if he plays like zeisloft.

This is a Hartman type pick-up imo. Great shooter and can just play basketball with tons of hustle. Not the elite athlete, but this is a solid building block.

Yeah, I am indifferent on him as a player but I agree with you.  Love IU boards.

Indiana kids are great, it just frustrating to get unranked hometown kids to commit while watching our homegrown studs go to OSU and Michigan st.

I've never heard of him before but I like hearing the words "immediately accepted." It's a welcome change from the "stay tuned, dropping my top 25 list later this week" we see from a lot of the top recruits. We've got a big class to fill this year so realistically they're not all going to be top recruits. It sounds like an Indiana kid's dream came true today, let's hope he can rise to the occasion.
