Where will our transfers commit to?

if you're a 6-5 QB you're going going to be on a teams radar. Why? No clue. But tall QB's are just what people like to see. And Hanner will get his opportunity whether people here like it or not.

not sure why I am even responding to this but there are plenty of 6'5" quarterbacks that get zero attention from the nfl, including a guy from my high school that went on to play at Purdue.

Secondly, there are other players in D-1 that are as athletic as perea that will not sniff draft boards. Leaping ability doesn't mean anything, if so we would recruit a team full of high jumpers

Well you probably could get a bunch of track kids. Should have some good perimeter defense and good wings. I don't know how tall track guys are though. Though track guys normally mane a transition to football instead.

Hanner was so damn frustrating, especially Defensively.  Last year, was clearly his best year while at IU, but he still made the same mistakes:  fumbled the ball in traffic, not much of a face up game, fouled a lot, always bit on the shot fake.  While he made improvements last year, Holt and Bryant both would have probably out played him this year.  He was a very frustrating player.

I had seats on the floor for the 5 game package.  I focused on HMP playing defense. He had no sense of what other players were trying to do. He reacted and often too slow.  It was almost as though he waited until it was too late to help.  His awareness of what was going on around him was very low. Defense was only part of it.  He never learned to play in the post.  Holt was a better offensive player in the post on day 1 and will get better on defense.

I was curious if HMP would have left had he graduated.  After Bryant signed his LOI, I was kind of hoping he would leave so Holt would play more. I don't think loosing HMP will have anything but a positive effect on next year.

Teams don't seem to be breaking down the door to talk to him.

Jeff Goodman‏@GoodmanESPN
Indiana transfer Hanner Mosquera-Perea expected to transfer to East Tennessee State and play for Steve Forbes, source told ESPN.

Glad he and Peter will be reunited. The could be a pretty good duo down low. Good luck, Hanner. Be smarter...
