@DocLibby: Every year the roster just magically fixes itself. Wait for it..... #iubb

Yikes, I don't know if I'm misinterpreting her tone, but that sounds pretty sarcastic to me.

I agree with it though, I don't like the excuse of "the roster just works itself out."  That's such a cop out, it's basically saying that other people work it out for you and you just think it works itself out.

Yogi just got interviewed at the IHSAA games. Saying he was non-committal when asked about his senior year at IU would be putting it nicely. Something like "Yeah man...that'll be cool...if I come back...senior years are cool"

Yogi needs to come back for his own value's sake. If he had made those three last-second shots (at Maryland, vs. Purdue and the free-throw vs. Michigan State) that could have vaulted us to 12-6 in the B1G and gotten us a higher seed, and quite possibly an NCAA win or two, he'd be a lot higher on the pro stock exchange. Not that those moments define him, but they aren't things that distinguish him positively.

As it is, I think he can only help himself by coming back and playing with a team that does better than 9-9 (even without Thon or Bryant we will improve on that) and extend that 3-point streak to some outlandish number (90ish).

By the way, Sam Dekker is projected as a first-round NBA pick, so ol' Grinch Bo might be losing him along with Gasser, Kaminski and Jackson. While it's probably likely that he goes no matter what, if Wisconsin would happen to win the NCAA, I would think that would clinch it for Dekker's exit.

Here's a non-committal article on Hammons, the only one I've seen this year. He had LOTS of stories last year, and there may be more coming once the tournament is over:

The guy is a late second round pick on DraftExpress. Would be pretty dumb to leave early for that

Could HMP be the next to transfer?? Wouldn't be crazy to happen esp if we land Bryant and def likely if landing Thon too! PT for him would be awfully hard to come by

It would suck because he was beginning to show signs of consistency excluding his performance against WSU. If it wasn't for that knee injury I feel like we could've seen him become more productive towards the end of the season.

This is from an interview with top recruit Jaylen Brown. This is what we are recruiting against!

What’s your take on Kentucky?
Kentucky is probably the best basketball program in America. I took a lot of visits and nobody basketball program was as good as Kentucky. In the gist of things basketball is what I’m going to do with my life and basketball is important, but nobody’s basketball program is probably as good as Kentucky just with their facilities and how they operate. It’s just so professional and it’s ridiculous. I saw it with my own eyes. Kentucky, I just have so much respect for that program.
