Hoetzel played 7.7 MPG and averaged 2.4 PPG his freshman season. His basketball mentor said Hoetzel was frustrated with his lack of playing time this season. With Morgan and Anunoby coming in, and with Williams and Collin Hartman established players, the wing position is awfully crowded. per http://247sports.com/Article/Offseason-storylines-to-follow-36321724

It was interesting that Crean said in one of his last radio shows that if he could do it all over again he would've reshirted Max. The only problem with Hoetzel complaining about his lack of playing time is that he didn't get it done while he was in there. Kids feel too entitled to things these days. You gotta earn it!

I don't think he is a 2015 recruit though cause I can't find anyone that is a 5 star, 6-10 PF in ESPN's top 100 that looks like this kid

Man I don't want to see Max go. If I had to pick guys to go it would be Priller, April and Stan. (Even though Priller WANTS to be a Hoosier.) Max can be really good for us if he keeps developing.

Boy, I hope not. Seltzer has been with Crean since Marquette and his stint at Samford was an absolute disaster. Can we at least get some new blood in the assistant ranks?
