Dalton26 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Corroborating what any fan with half a brain cell thought all along. Not saying its true or not but what did you expect? Do you think anyone close to crean would admit it right now? MikeRoberts, Happydaze, Napleshoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I never felt Alabama was a good fit for Crean. My feeling is he's headed for DePaul or Seton Hall. They are Catholic universities that are similar to Marquette. Is Crean Catholic? Quote
Bryan Medema Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Is Crean Catholic? It was hard to miss the not so subtle orange glow of his skin whenever I went to mass, so I'd say yes. jonz44, LazOffTheBench, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote

Popular Post AKHoosier Posted March 18, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 18, 2015 An Alabama insider on 247 posted Crean to Alabama is a done deal as of about an hour ago. If I had a dollar for every time I read or heard about a "done deal" only to have it not come true, I tell ya, I'd probably have like 8 dollars or so. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Is he or isn't he going to be our coach next year? I have no idea but one thing seems odd to me. Did I not read that CBS has been granted behind the scenes access to our program for however long we last in the tournament? If that's correct, would the AD and the head coach be agreeable to such a thing if the head coach was leaving? And maybe the whole access thing was just a dream from one of my afternoon naps we old and cranky people take. IUsafety 1 Quote
FKfootball Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 There are some fans that wouldn't trade Crean for Donovan. Thats 1 of many problems this program has. Low basketball IQ. Happydaze 1 Quote
Popular Post Bryan Medema Posted March 18, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 18, 2015 Crean...Crean...Cream! Cream comes from Milk, Milk comes from Cows, Cows come from Wisconsin...where Marquette is! Wisconsin is next to Minnesota which is where the Mississippi river starts from...the Mississippi river lets out into the Gulf of Mexico, where the Crimson tide comes from...Crimson Tide is Alabama's nickname. The answer was so obvious, the elephant in the room. Feel free to quote me as an inside source. Hovadipo, IU Hoosier41, thebigweave and 6 others 9 Quote

Thinking Crean is the "right guy" or a "good coach" is different than saying you wouldn't trade him for Donovan. We could hire Archie Miller this year and people should still be down to trade for Donovan at any time. jonz44 1 Quote

Down here on the river these UofL and UK fans have poisoned our fanbase into thinking Crean is the right guy for IU. I live not far from the river, got a few UK fans as friends. One of them wants us to keep him forever, which from a rival is a bad thing, but another UK friend that used to work with AAU said himself IU deserves better. Quote
