Peegs was an absolute zoo.

 

The end of the Sampson debacle was a hot mess too. There was a sizable group that were still in favor of letting Sampson finish the season. I got called some things that I'm still looking up the definition for.

Le' sigh.. I felt so strongly about Crean being ousted this week but now I'm considering everyone coming back and Bryant and wondering if the big ten could be ours next year.... let's just root our hind-parts off because we are about to not watch an ounce of college ball for 6 months.

And at the end of the day, these players have spilled their guts in practice, in part, for us on game day. Boo Crean when he is introduced and then let's put our grown adult pants on and get loud!

Then you discuss every coach, philosophy of basketball, offense defense, which players would stay, recruits to flip to IU, announcement happens, break down what the coach said, how players are reacting, interviews every day across major media, what opponents think, opponents fan bases think, transfers, additions, yards yada yada.

It's a CRAZY cycle. I'm only 28, but was around Peegs during Davis, Sampson, Dakich, Crean. Excited to break BtownBanners coaching search cherry :)

Got some fun things to roll out should IU go that direction.

this really sounds great. The Bryant news changed my expectations significantly. I want a new coach and Bryant. Ha! I can't wrap my head around this angle except Crean is getting another year if Bryant commits???

Exactly, that and so he could continue to rip on IU all because he was deemed unacceptable as our coach. As they say, 'those who can, coach, those who can't, broadcast!
