Most Surprising During Butler Game?

Recommended Posts

The more I think about.. most surprising - our rebounding.. we can bang with some serious teams if we are going to go after boards like that

I saw Max Hoetzel box out yesterday. Well, either him or Zeisloft, but I saw a box out. It was amazing.

Troy did have 2 turnovers, but one of them was a nice hustle play I'll take out of him any day out of the week.  He went up for a rebound, knocked it out of a Butler player's hands, then came down with the rebound but got called for travelling after falling down and sliding on his back.  I was actually pretty pumped after that play.

Rewatched the game and Z's foul at the end of the game was awesome. He was so fired up

Thought the same thing. I was flipping out during the live game but running back through, we didn't play as bad as I originally thought for a few stretches. I was just wanting to beat butler so bad I was coming down on Crean way too hard.

I thought our tenacity was level throughout. Great effort all around. Even more solid win against a fundamental Butler squad.

It was, agreed. That was some inspired ball. We are so good on offense 90% of the time. We still have a lot of defensive work to do but if we can mimic the be rebound energy we will become pretty hard to put away
