i really dont understand why anytime something bad happens to IU he just bashes the hell out of em........and i know he was interim coach but he claims he doest care about not getting the job, so what is it that he hates so much?

I just went and read all that.  man.  someone linked Zimmerman to the comment.  recruiting at the national level is nasty.  takes a tough kid to deal with it all I think.

I said as much when the drug test stuff surfaced prior to the start of the season. What parent can listen to Crean's spiel and be convinced that Crean is the guy for their kid. I’m a HUGE IU fan. I’m an alum. But I would have serious doubts about sending my kid there if I had to make that choice.

They had also "failed to adhere to their drug and alcohol policy"

 

All I was saying was that if our issues turned off the Bryants, it's a good thing they aren't signing till spring when the Syracuse situation becomes more transparent.

 

None of that has any bearing on the situation in Bloomington. We had serious issues there, that may or may not be being dealt with properly. The fact that Syracuse is imploding is a separate and irrelevant issue.

Regardless of your opinion of Dakich, can you really disagree with that premise? Is anyone here really happy with anything Crean is doing these days? His recruiting is weak and he can’t make adjustments in-game. What else do we need or expect from a basketball coach?

It's one game----if it becomes a pattern---then we panic.

 

No need to overreact----give coaches a chance to correct it---if they don't and we have our second subpar season in a row---then we can all demand change.

 

I am a Hoosier---and I am not ready to give up on Coach or the season because of one upset. Back to work Hoosiers!

Back on topic----Bryant's mother needs to ask Boeheim directly what their discipline issues have been over the last two years---if they are honest with her I'll bet her head would spin around 360 degrees.  Of course, it probably would not change her position because Bryant seems like a Cuse done deal to me.  Hope I am wrong.

 

By the way---I do agree that the off-court crud our players have been involved in will hurt recruiting the types of players we want. Just a reality.

We get two of our big men back tonight, and have one more signed on for 2015 already. A few weeks ago, everyone was complaining about the roster turnover. Crean has recruited this team, and I want to see him develop players, which is apparently his strong suit.

Still feel that way??
