When I see Rawle and others post pictures of recruiting letters, it's amazing how many Crimson colored envelopes you can see. 

 

Over doing it?  Maybe.

 

How does it really come across?  Desperate?

 

I've wondered about this plenty over the last 2 years but this is the first time I've seen a recruit comment on it.

I wish we could say that Yogi was the lousiest of great defense, instead of the greatest of a lousy defense. It would mean a bit more.

As it is, they were all underwhelming on that side of the ledger, so no one should come away unscathed. 

I agree. There's nothing special about being the greatest defender in a lousy defense, but that metric places him as the lousiest defender in a lousy defense

In the end, I doubt anyone lost a recruit because of too much interest.

 

I learned the hard way as a sales manager that when a customer tells me I don't need to call him for two months that if I wait that long, quite often he's bought a competitor's product and was really gauging my interest in doing business with him.

It's looking more and more like he will be a Hoosier. Kentucky is the only other possibility. Does he want to play behind a couple of guys at UK? It's possible I suppose.

“I’m satisfied with (Crean’s job security),” Bryant said. “He’s still going to be at Indiana. I saw the stuff that they support him 100 percent, and I’m happy about that.”

I hope he looks at Troy and says "cut the highlight crap and ball out like we all know you can." Looks to Perea and Holt and says "try me, you're game needs to raise to my level."
