Under the heading of making lemons into lemonade, looks like I may need to get a knee replaced. Trying my level best to arrange to get it done the last week of the regular season and then taking a leave through Championship week and the tournament. Textbook best case scenario.

My wife had a knee replacement I 2016. A friend had one done quite recently and the trajectory of their respective recoveries were light years apart. Praying that all goes well, and that the timing works out for Championship week and the NCAAT.

of other old guys that I can now beat in full court hoops. Have a close friend that I saw for the Wisky football weekend; one month post knee replacement and he’s already quite a bit better than pre-replacement.

There used to be a week in late December that had a bunch of bowl games and good non-con basketball games. It was always a good week to be in Vegas. I think that’s kind of went by the wayside though.

He did really well today. 21 mins, 10 points on 5/5 shooting. Added 4 boards 2 blocks and an assist. Flashed some impressive skill for a freshman big. Great get for Sha. Not a super talented group but his teams always play hard. They won 7 games all of last season and are 6-0 now. Their NIL is just untenable for a coach of his caliber. I hope he gets them back to the dance this year then moves onto a program with better resources. He may be a different kind of guy though.
