The media only remembers Braden Smith's performance against Houston last year and not his 6-turnover blowout loss to IU. They'll have at least one game in the non-con where they look amazing and our fans crap their pants over it...same as every year. str8baller and hoosierbgh 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Pandora's Box has been opened. On3 reporting T.J. Clark, who's played for Overtime Elite, played in the G-League and played professionally in Mexico is looking for a college gig. He does still need confirmation of NCAA eligibility but that's just a joke anymore. From what I've seen, he's currently 22-years old. At the rate it's going, high school kids might as well give up basketball as they're going to become the 3rd option behind the likes of T. J. Clark and the portal. I’m sure he’ll sue and based on the Pavia stuff I’m sure he’ll win, but this is absurd. He graduated from high school in 2018. He’d be playing tournament games next year at 26. For all the problems with college sports at the moment nothing pi$$es me off worse than this. There are no circumstances, none, in which a 26yo man should be playing 18 year olds. Ridiculous. And should that happen in football it could absolutely be dangerous. Yeah. and now a judge, who went to Gonzaga Law School no less, has now ruled Grant-Foster eligible and he’s playing in Gonzaga’s exhibition game tonight. Between this and the TJ Clark situation I really don’t even know what to say anymore. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

I’m waiting for Lebron James to announce his college decision because MJ has an NCAA championship and he’s gotta chase that now. The court argument will be that James was more of a professional actor than basketball player so he will be allowed to play. im only half joking with this Rico and OliviaPope40 2 Quote

That honestly seems to be the NCAA’s goal—an officially sanctioned stepping stone to the NBA. I’m ready for the NCAA to be officially pushed aside and the B1G/SEC create something new in its place.
