Serious question, is the SEC overrated much like it has been in football for the last two years? I'm seeing a ton of schools ranked and wondering if it's the same issue in basketball like it is in football.

Not this year.   SEC is easily the best conference in college basketball this year.   They hammered everyone in the non conference with a ridiculous win loss record in the non con.   They have 4 legit teams in play for 1 seeds still

Thanks for sharing. Conventional wisdom basically says we'll see a nice SEC representation in the later rounds. If you had to guess what is the conference behind them?

I kind of think he’s going to get DePaul competitive in the big east in a few years. At least middle of the pack. Will come down to if he can recruit the Chicago area well.

The numbers say the B1G however I would say the Big 12.  Big 12 has Houston, Texas Tech and Iowa st and Arizona who are teams I think can make deeper runs in March then any B1G team especially Houston

Oklahoma gets a must win game at home bs Missouri.   Only 5-12 conference.  Going to the push the limits on the conference record doesn’t matter.   I’ve seen teams get in at 7-11 but nothing below that.   13=0 in the non conference and 5-12 in conference.  Still think they need to win the last game just have a shot at 6-12.   They were the first team out last year as well

Have I mentioned replay review is ruining the game? 4:45 left between Minnesota/Wisconsin and the game has been stopped to review a shot that clearly beat the shot clock. Anything to get some more commercials in, I guess.

This Tennessee/Ole Miss game is a classic battle....I love the intensity Ole Miss plays with!

4 years ago this guy was the midmajor darling everyone thought was a can’t miss. Cincy is historically an above average program and he’s pretty much fallen flat on his face. Have to wonder if he’s gone at the end of the year.

He’s beaten 2 top 5 teams this year. Just think of the juggernaut he would have here at Indiana! With NIL we would be top competitors year 1.
