Cal really is having the mother of all $hitty off-seasons. Well-earned.

So, he's back down to seven available scholarship players. And he has an international trip on the schedule. If they have to cancel that thing because he can't field a full team that is going to crush recruiting.

It also could foreshadow some of his current players pulling a Shaedon Sharpe and shutting it down with a hangnail to train for the pros.

A little light reading for y'all from the Kensucky fan base. They seem to be taking the fractured foot setback rather well  ;)

There's a poster.... UK_Born_an_Bread .....    ???    Bread ? ... Maybe he's a biscuit, or a scone. Either way, seems to have a pretty serious yeast infection.

In non-Kentucky news, San Diego State wants out of the Mountain West, even without a new destination.

June gloom? SDSU's future in Mountain West cloudy as ever - The San Diego Union-Tribune (sandiegouniontribune.com)

Hard fit.....Pac 12, maybe, if it survives.  They're probably a better fit than UCF is for the Big 12, but I have no idea why the Big 12 took in UCF unless it was simply for the Florida market.

Big 12 wanted the Orlando market for TV and the Florida recruits... but mostly the Orlando TV market.

Honestly, they really should try and stay in the Mountain West and see what's going to happen next.  The Pac 12 is crumbling and the Mountain West could swipe at least Oregon State and Washington State.  Those schools don't sound impressive, but they'll make a lot of money and save on travel.

You are right. It is the Orlando market they wanted.
