Uspshoosier Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Kent St is pretty good team. Could t watch last night but watched today. They were up 4 at the Zags at the under 4 timeout. Zags went on 11-0 run to end the game but they were right there and they played Houston tough on the road as well. Mid major to keep an eye on if the make the tournament. Sam Houston plays at Oklahoma St tonight. Another Mid major to watch. Already won at Oklahoma and Utah. IUc2016 1 Quote
Josh Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Illinois fans tell me how great they are and how well they travel...but this game sounds like they're playing in a graveyard HoosierTrav 1 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Iona destroying St Louis. I didn’t see that one. I thought St Louis would have made it a closer game for them on the road Quote
HoosierTrav Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Illinois is tough. My eyes tell me that they’re the better team. Quote
IUc2016 Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Illinois beats Texas 85-78 in OT. Pretty impressive second half comeback for Illinois. Chris Beard’s offense still leaves A Lot to be desired HoosierTrav 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Third-ranked Cavs win 55-50. With Texas losing, UVA likely to move up to No. 2. They're off until a week from Saturday, when they host Houston. Could be a 1 vs. 2 matchup. HoosierHoopster and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 So Illini beat a tough TX team and MD is currently tied with Wisconsin. I think I’m done listening to anyone saying hey the Big Ten is down this year, lol. It’s just always a grind LockdownD and Ryno6284 1 1 Quote

After the Rutgers loss he said it came down to making shots which was exactly right. We have analytics to tell us what is a good shot and what is not. I get that this generation has the tools to do that stuff. And I'm not saying it isn't useful. I am admittedly an old guy, really old, but for me it has always been about putting the ball in the basket. I believe that Tony Hinkle used to say before every high school tournament game that the team who put the ball in the basket the most would win the game. I like CMW's approach that it is a simple game. Do the right things and hit your shots and you probably win. ALASKA HOOSIER and upperarlington 2 Quote

I love UVA and classic Princeton type offenses with back cuts and off ball screens. But big programs get big time players, and you have to use them to your advantage. We have TJD. Our offense starts with feeding him which is effective at collapsing a defense. Rutgers flooded the paint and threw a couple triple teams at him. From there you have to knock down shots. It’s frustrating we don’t. Whoozhers 1 Quote
